About Emily
Photographer, Filmmaker, Radio Producer
Hi! I'm Emily McCormack. I am a photographer and filmmaker based in the New Jersey/New York area.
I currently work as a video editor and journalist for Melodic Magazine, showcasing artist interviews for social media and reviewing music, as well as a photographer and journalist for music publication The Camera Affect.
In 2025, I graduated from Montclair State University with a B.A. in Film & Television, where I worked at 90.3 WMSC-FM as the radio station's programming director, music director, and web director across four years. It is there where I have spent years producing and booking bands for our local music performance show, WMSC Unplugged, and the round-table new-music show, Tunes on Tuesday.
Since attending my first concert in 2013 (Maroon 5, R.I.P. Izod Center), it's no surprise to anyone who knows me that when in doubt, "Emily's at a concert."
In 2022, I was invited to photograph my first concert for one of my favorite artists in the world - and my life changed forever. Ever since then, I have had the pleasure of covering shows in my area for WMSC and helping others in our organization explore a possible career path.
Outside of the radio/photography life, I am the co-founder of The Sticker Spectrum (Est. 2020), a sticker company showcasing the artwork of Liam McCormack, an autistic artist, and his whimsical designs. I serve as the social media and website manager (and sometimes, my handwriting appears on our stickers)!
Just do it. Start. Try. Fail. Try again. Do alright. Whatever. Keep going!!!
